About Hawkama
Hawkama Center for Public Relations was established in 2015 to operate in the fields of publishing, conference organization, and public relations services. Over the years, the Center has executed a number of conferences with government and private entities and has also established understandings with many organizations in the country.
Key Publications and Releases
The White Book on Social Responsibility
An annual book highlighting corporate social responsibility practices. Four editions have been released, receiving great appreciation from the business sector and government agencies.
The Workers’ Book
An annual publication addressing labor issues and including reports on their welfare, released on the occasion of International Workers’ Day on May 1st each year.
The Governance Reports Book
Reviews the governance reports of Qatari public joint-stock companies and contains valuable information on the development of the governance system in Qatar and the Middle East.
The National Register for OSH
Published for the first Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Conference in 2017, it included valuable information on the laws and efforts in the State of Qatar.

Qatar Construction Specifications Conference (3 Sessions)
In collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (2014-2016), sponsored by major contracting companies and attracting international speakers.
The First Wound Care Conference
In collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (2016), it was attended by 1200 participants and speakers from around the world.
The First Corporate Governance Conference
Under the patronage of the Qatar Financial Markets Authority (2017), coinciding with the launch of the amended corporate governance law.
Raw Materials Management Conference
Organized in Muscat (2018), it brought together officials from Qatar and Oman to discuss securing Qatar’s need for raw materials.
